We have just started a community garden as a small form of activism.  We wish to be less dependent on fuel and large grocery store chains and get back the satisfaction earned by growing your own food. 

We are starting late in the year so our goals are rather modest.  This year we are simply supplementing our groceries and hopefully we have enough abundance to give to our family and friends as well.

Next year we plan on bringing a larger harvest to our community through open air markets to help others realize that they can grow their own vegetables and herbs too.  Also, we plan on charging  reasonable prices to bring at least a small amount of relief to those wishing to find affordable alternatives.

You can be sure that we will photograph our trial and error approach to urban farming.
